BBC Question Time
To get some practice and to build up a Twitterfollowing on my new account, I got my paper and pencil ready by the telly, and tried it out.
I found that witty ideas based on the debates didn't come at first. So I opted for characatures with speech bubbles instead.
There was a noisy contingent of pro-Israel supporters reacting to the famous politician George Galloway's presence. I found it telling that Dimbleby, the chair, gave them a voice.
Galloway favourited and retweeted the sketch - which was a most encouraging start.
